The SG70460 4 port sfp fiber switch is unmanaged and offers 2 ports of 10/100/10000M with RJ45 connectors and 2 slots for 1G fiber optic SFP modules.
This product is ideal for those applications where a linear bus topology is desired. The 2 slots for 1G SFP fiber modules (sold separately) readily support a “drop-and-add” configuration at each node along the f.o. cable bus. The use of f.o. cable in this type of application can significantly improve overall network speed, while providing security and immunity to EMI/RFI.
